Working condition inspection of water pump:

When it's not easy to observe the circulation of cooling water from the water inlet, another method can be used: let the engine turn off when the water temperature is high, and quickly remove the hose from the car cylinder head to the radiator upper water chamber joint, and plug the upper water chamber joint with cloth, Fill the radiator with cooling water from the water inlet. When the engine is started again, if the water in the water jacket of the cylinder and the radiator is pumped out of the rubber pipe by the water pump, the impeller will not slip, indicating that the water pump is working normally; Otherwise, it is abnormal.
