MMO coated titanium anode for perchlorate and salt water electrolysis
The mixed metal oxides are formed on the substrate through a process of thermal- decomposition, creating an oxide coating of the
platinum group metals. The oxide coatings have many the superior performances, such as
l Lightweight
l MMO coatings demonstrate very high chemical stability even in environments with very low PH values.
l The coating is not affected by the generation of chlorine.
l The wear rate of the anode is extremely low and uniform and between 1 and 6 milligrams/ampere-year.
l The anode dimensions remain nearly constant during the design life .
l Operated at high current density, 2000A/m2.
l The superior electrically-conductive performance: 10-7Ω·m

Ti ,Ta ,Nb ,Zr ,Ti/Cu, Nb/Cu etc.can be used as substrates. But Of all substrates Ti and its clad is generally used. The titanium
