If your car has 8 button multi function steering wheel, you need below MFSW adapter, otherwise you can not control RCD330 with old style 8 button MFSW. This adapter also provide function to prevent 2008 onwards car makes from battery drain.

Q. I also need reverse camera to work with the stereo. Any suggestion?

If you have vw factory camera comes with your car, you have to replace it together with radio. Reason is vw factory camera runs on RGB signal whileas this 187B only works with AV NTSC camera.
