MDPE is known as medium density polyethylene (MDPE) in Chinese.
The performance of MDPE is between high density polyethylene (HDPE) and low density polyethylene (LDPE).
The relative density of MDPE is 0.926-0.953, crystallinity is 70%-80%, average molecular weight is 200,000, tensile strength is 8-24 MPa, elongation at break is 50%-60%, melt temperature is 126-135°C, melt flow rate is 0.1-35 g/10 min, thermal deformation temperature (0.46 MPa) 49-74°C.
MDPE can be extruded, injected, blow molded, rotomolded, rotational, powder molding processing methods, production process parameters are similar to HDPE and LDPE, commonly used in pipes, films, hollow containers, etc. The products are used for high-speed molding of various bottles, high-speed automatic packaging films, various injection molding products, rotational molding products, wire and cable cladding, waterproof materials, water pipes, gas pipes, etc.
