Surface planers are the main apparatus for wood industry
1. Make the flat face on a piece of stock to prepare it for planing on the thickness planer.
2. Produce a straight edges on solid wood and man-made boards.
3. Clear the saw cuts on solid wood and man-made boards.
The main parts include: revolving blade arbor in which at least 3 blades have been mounted, planing fence, front and back workbench; for the modern model, it also equips with automatic guard or bridge guard to keep the working safety.
