Scientific and production enterprise "Vulkan-TM" was established in 1997. The purpose of its creation is to develop modern steel filling systems of a new generation and refractories for them, both for large metallurgical enterprises and foundries. Since the beginning of its activity, the company has been designing, manufacturing and implementing a complete supply of modern BRS systems - gate valves and refractory products to them. In parallel with the work on the mechanical part of the gates, a standard set of refractories of the filling unit was developed. In order to increase the resistance of refractories and the possibility of their quick replacement, the technology of their production in metal shells and bandages has been created. Since 2002, the RPE "Vulkan-TM" has established serial production of vibroformed refractory products from thixotropic low-cement masses with the help of vibration installations of its own design. The production of technological complexes for the production of powder wires and their introduction into the melt (production lines for powder and monocalcium wire, trib devices), which allowed for out-of-furnace processing to improve the quality of cast iron and steel, was started. In accordance with the requirements of consumers, NPP Vulkan-TM develops the technology of production of cored wire with special fillers and the modes of its application. NPP Vulkan-TM also actively develops the refractory direction of its activity. The customer is offered a lining for buckets of heating furnaces of various volumes, from laboratory to industrial. Since 2006, serial production of purge bottom units of various configurations and standard sizes has been carried out. Since 2008 Vulkan-TM has mastered such a line of work as the production of unformed refractories, and successfully produces a number of refractory mixtures, packed masses, concretes, and mertels for various conditions of industrial operation. For the production of refractory products, three types of high-intensity mixers are designed and successfully launched.
