Carbomer 2020 is an easy-wetting hydrophobically modified acrylic (ester) cross-linked polymer. As a water-soluble rheology modifier, it has the high-efficiency thickening and suspension of traditional carbomer resins. In addition to its function, it has a short wetting time in water, which is better than Carbopol 940, which is more convenient to use. In addition, it has excellent salt resistance and good compatibility with surfactants. It can be used in formulations containing electrolytes. Carbopol 940 is not resistant to ions and cannot exist in a strong electrolyte system. Applications: Skin care lotions, creams, alcohol-containing transparent gel products, transparent skin care gels, hair styling gels, shampoos, shower gels.
