Usage method
1.Check the light source Settings to ensure that the light is functioning properly and that the light transmitters are not loose. Applying sterile lubricant to both the tracheal intubation and the light wand, adjusting the catheter fixator on the light wand to a position 5mm higher than the length of the trachea, insert the light wand into the tracheal tube, and the top end of the light wand is about 5mm from the front end of the tracheal tube.
2.The distance from the lower frontal Angle to the hyoid bone is the bending length of the light wand, which is bent into a J
shape（The bending length is generally 5-7cm at the front end).
There is two way can be chose:
The first method:Making sure the patient's head is tilted back and measure the Angle of the mandibular bone to the hyoid bone(about 5-7cm) from this distance to the bending length of the light wand.
The second method:Let the patient lay on the operating table and make a vertical line from the incisors laterally to the operating table. Then making a vertical line from the highest point of the thyroid cartilage to the operating table. The distance between the two lines (about 5-7cm) is the length of the rod bending.
3.Holding the handle of the light source device at the same level as the oral crack. The bending part is inserted in the middle of the mouth and then placed into the pharynx by turning the light wand 90°.
