Products Description
1st Step
Do centrifugation to dog’s blood sample to collect serum
or plasma and directly use in the assay.
2nd step
If using the whole blood as sample, please do a dilution
of 1:1 with the provided assay buffer. NOTE: It is suggested
to use serum to increase the detection sensitivity.
3rd Step
Take out the cassette from the foil pouch and place it
horizontally.
4th Step
Gradually drip 3 drops of sample extraction into the
sample hole “S”.
5th Step
Interpret the result in 5-10 minutes. Result after 10
minutes is considered as invalid.
Positive: The presence of both C band and T band, no matter T band is clear or vague.
Negative: Only clear C band appears.
Invalid: No colored band appears in C zone, no matter whether T band appears.
Negative: Only clear C band appears.
Invalid: No colored band appears in C zone, no matter whether T band appears.

1.What are the limitations of this product?
This reagent is a qualitative screening reagent, which can detect canine parvovirus / canine coronavirus antigen very accurately,but if the sample is insufficient or the antigen concentration is lower than the sensitivity of reagent detection, the doctorshould make the diagnosis after taking into account all the clinical symptoms. An accurate clinical diagnosis should not be based on a single test result.
2.What is the sensitivity and specificity of this product?
Compared with other similar rapid detection cards, the sensitivity of this card was more than 99%, and there was no cross reaction with canine distemper virus, adenovirus and parainfluenza virus with similar symptoms.
3.Are there positive reactions when tested after vaccination?
Because canine parvovirus and canine coronavirus vaccines may be attenuated vaccines, the virus may increase in the body during immunization and may show positive reactions. However, this phenomenon automatically disappeared after 3-10 days of vaccination.However, animals treated with monoclonal antibodies may be false positive for a long time because they produce secondary antibodies against monoclonal antibodies in vivo.
