Third, recommended adding amount

The adding amount is 0.05-0.5% of total formulation amount.

Fourth, features

The product LD-4043 is a high effective silicone defoamer. Best defoaming effect is achieved through its little immiscibility to polymer. It can effectively solve foaming problems during the coating production and construction process. It has strong function of defoaming, you only need to add a little LD-4043 and it will reach the effect of bubble breaking.

Attention: Product excess may lead to shrinkage cavity.

Fifth, application

The product is suitable for most solvent systems including PU, NC, Alkyd, Acrylic and so on. It is also suitable for UVcure coating. It is recommended to be used in PU wood coating to solve bubble problem in brushing process.

Sixth, adding method

In order to get the enough defoaming effect, the defoamer should be added before grinding. If added in the later stage, the shear force must be strong enough as to make sure that defoamer disperse fully and avoid shrinkage cavity.
