2. Advantages:
Our DK series ice block machine adopt aluminum plate as ice can, the refrigerant will evaporate inside the aluminum plate so the plate can freeze ice making water quickly. This is the intergrated system, meanwhile, we design the lifting system to harvest ice blocks directly, no need hands to harvest ice blocks one by one.
The evaporator is made of aluminum plates, it is of 3 times higher heat exchange efficiency than other steel sus304, galvanized steel], so our direct cooled ice block machine can produce ice faster but with lower power consumption.
What's more:
1, as the ice block making speed of faster than the traditional brine type ice block machine, the aluminum evaporator is smaller than the brine pool, so direct cooled ice block machine is take less space for installation, If you water and power is well prepared, a 10 tons/day ice block machine can be installed in 3 days.
2, As all ice blocks can drop on to the ice bed as the same time, no need crane system, ice thawing tank, we can spend less time to harvest the ice blocks, so theoperation is much easier and faster.
3, As you know, the brine is corrosive, the ice cans and brine pool service life is short. But direct cooled ice block machine don't need brine, so the life span is longer than the brine type ice block machine. In the future, you don't need salt, don't need to clean the ice cans and brine pool, so it can save labor and time cost for the maintenance.
4, Without brine pollution, the ice block is clean enough even to work as edible ice. For fishey some our customer use the lake water for ice block making.
5, We use hot gas for the defrost, within 20 minutes, all ice blocks can be separated from the aluminum evaporator. But if it is brine type ice block machine, we have lift the ice moulds row by row, then put the ice moulds is the ice thawing tank, then lift it, put it on the ice falling shelf, then refill water in the ice moulds, put it back to the brine pool, it will take a very long time.
6, The aluminum is lighter than the steel, so we can move the direct cooled ice block machine easily.
7, The direct cooled ice block machine can be designed into containerizd type as well, we can pull the ice bed from two sides.

The ice making time is decided by the ice block thickness, we can all design some aluminum bars in the ice moulds to make ice blocks faster, even 50kg ice blocks can be fully frozen within 12hours, so it can produce 2 batches per day including the time on the ice block harvest.
