HAND WOVEN TURKISH KILIM PILLOW COVER

This kilim pillow cover is made from a vintage Anatolian kilim rug.

We do not know the age of the kilim rug exactly. But most of the kilim rugs we use for cutting pillows are 20-50 years old. These kilim rugs are collected from various Anatolian cities and each of them reflect the patterns and colors adopted in that city or region.

Anatolian kilim rugs are mostly wool. Some kilim rugs were weaved with wool-cotton as mixed, and we do not know the proportion of each yarn. Therefore, we can tell you that the front side of the pillow cover, which is kilim part, is Wool & Cotton.  Back side of the pillow cover is cotton fabric and it is coming with hidden zipper.

One of the most important aspects of Kilim Pillows is that these pillows are handmade, unique and one of a kind. So you cannot find exactly the same kilim pillow cover in our stocks, even though you may find some pillow covers with similar patterns or colors.

Size of this kilim pillow cover is 16 x 16 inches / 40 x 40 cm.  There would be 1-2 cm differences in the dimension.
