The KVM Extender is designed to enable one PS/2 CPU to be controlled by two users, one local and one remote. The remote user can be located as much as 100 meters away from a USB CPU via Category 5 unshielded twisted-pair cable. The local user will be located near the USB CPU. For ease of installation, this product uses standard Category 5, 5E, or 6 network cabling that fits easily into almost any existing network infrastructure.
