Running start

● The working rotation direction of the pump should be clockwise from the driving end to the pump.

● Determine
whether the rotation direction of the motor is correct and the rotation of the pump is flexible before the pump runs.

● Close the gate valve of the spit-out pipeline.

● Fill the pump with water, or use a vacuum pump to divert water.

● Turn on the power supply.
After the pump reaches normal speed, gradually open the gate valve on the spit-out pipeline and adjust it to the required working condition. When the gate valve on the spit-out pipeline is closed, the pump can not work continuously for more than 3 minutes.
Stop:

● Gradually close the gate valve on the discharge pipeline and cut off the power supply.

● If the ambient temperature is
lower than 0℃, the water in the pump should be discharged to avoid freezing and cracking the pump body.

● If it is stopped for a long time, the pump should be disassembled, oiled, packaged and kept.

Operation:

● During startup and operation, it is necessary to observe whether the readings of instrument, bearing heating, leakage and heating of shaft seal, vibration and noise are normal.If any abnormal situation is found, it should be handled immediately.

● The maximum bearing temperature shall not be higher than 80℃, and the bearing temperature shall not exceed the ambient temperature of 40℃.

● Replace the sealing ring with a new one if the matching part between the sealing ring and the impeller is excessively worn.

Matters needing attention:

● Do not dry the machine
to avoid damaging the shaft seal.

● Check the bearings regularly.

● The pipeline of the pump should have its own support, and the weight of the pipeline should not be added to the water pump to avoid crushing the pump.

● The suction pipe shall be installed separately for each pump, and shall be as short as possible with few bends.

● Pumps are made of different materials and have different pressures, so the working pressure must be compatible with the pressure of the pump.

● When transporting non-clean water medium, please provide the physical and chemical properties of the medium and negotiate with the supplier to determine whether the selected pump is applicable, including the materials of pump body and shaft seal.

● Wiring and line maintenance between water pump unit and power supply must be carried out by professional qualified personnel.
