K type thermocouple
Overview
K type thermocouple that nickel chrome - nickel silicon thermocouple, it is a cheap thermocouple to measure high temperature. Because of this alloy has good high temperature oxidation resistance, can be applied to oxidizing or neutral medium. It can measure the high temperature of 1000 degrees for a long time, short-term measurable to 1200 degrees. It cannot be used for reducing medium, otherwise, the corrosion soon, in this case can only be used under 500 degree measurement. It is much cheaper than S type thermocouple, the repeatability is very good, the thermoelectric potential is large, and thus the sensitivity is high, and it has a good linear. Although the measuring accuracy is slightly low, but can satisfy completely the requirements of industrial temperature measurement, so it is the most commonly used on industrial thermocouple.

A. for thermocouple length > 1 M, the normal temperature insulation resistance value rather than the product of the length should be not less than 100 M Ω m.
Namely: Rr l. 100 M or more Ω m. L > 1 M (type: L - the length of the thermocouple. M)
B. for thermocouple length 1 meter or less under normal temperature insulation resistance shall be not less than 100 M Ω

Should be no less than 8 ~ 10 times of the protecting tube diameter (special exception)
