The “Aomori PG” mark is a proof that proteoglycan has been extracted using the technology developed by Hirosaki University Medical School.
In Aomori Prefecture, a joint project of the university, industry and the government was launched with the aim of creating a new breakthrough proteoglycan industry. This project was adopted for the “Regional Innovation Strategy Support Program 2013” of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, and received a prize from the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology at the Innovation Network Awards 2013. Since then, it has steadily achieved great results.

Planning and research and development:
Our staff, including veteran researchers, are pursuing trends based on their achievements and knowledge, exchanging information with manufacturers of raw materials, and using the information that they have obtained to develop new cosmetic products that use the newest raw materials, as well as those that are the talk of the town. The research team aims to create high-quality and highly-functional products with a combination of natural raw materials, raw materials from plants, and biotechnology.

Production and quality control
We have achieved an integrated production system in the company, from manufacturing to filling and packaging, under production control and hygiene control systems that conform to the ISO Cosmetics GMP. We are able to produce small lots and intermediate lots of about 5,000 bottles in a day. The quality control department conducts physical property tests and microorganism tests on all bulks and products produced and strives to maintain and improve on product quality.
