Product Description
This kettle was designed by the 6th generation Oitomi artisan in 1989, and is representative of the Heisei era. This Arare pattern kettle is an Oitomi classic which remains a favorite even in the new era. Arare refers to a waffle pattern, which is the most common type used for iron kettles. This design is based on time-tested knowledge that has been passed down through the generations, increasing surface area and heat retention. This design has been indispensable in every era of the 200-year history of iron kettles.
