Absorption Type A Silica Gel Beads For Desiccators is a transparent or milky white granular solid with the main component being amorphous silica. Silica gel is insoluble in water and any solvent, non-toxic and tasteless, non-combustible, chemically stable, and does not react with any substance except strong alkali and hydrofluoric acid. Silica gel has an open porous structure with high adsorption performance, good thermal stability, stable chemical properties, and high mechanical strength.

How to store the silica gel after having purchased the products?
During the storage period of silica gel before use, be sure to pay attention to the following points:
1) Do not stack them together with items of various odors, because silica gel has a strong absorbability in face of organic gases.
2) Do not place them in excessively humid environments; when stacked in the warehouse, they should not be directly stacked on the floor or against the wall.
3) The storage period of silica gel before use should not be too long, which is usually one year.
4) When handling silica gel, be careful not to break the bags and the two lined layers of plastic film moisture barriers.
