Ion Meter/Hardness Meter Debugging Process

※．Preparation of standard solution: Take 1.11 g of anhydrous calcium chloride dissolved in 1 L of distilled water to obtain a hardness standard solution of 1000 mg/L. If other concentrations of standard liquids are required, they can be prepared in the appropriate proportions.

※．Calibration steps: The instrument has been calibrated before leaving the factory. generally, no secondary calibration is required. Before calibration, ensure that the electrode diaphragm is clean and free of attachments, and that it has been placed in an aqueous solution (purified water) with a concentration value of less than 10 mg / L for more than 5 hours; if the electrode is turned on for the first time, it must be polarized for more than 48 hours Calibration is in progress.

1. Zero calibration Calibrate the zero point of the electrode. Before calibration, wash the electrode with distilled water and use a clean filter paper to gently absorb the water droplets at the bottom of the electrode (do not use the filter paper to wipe the electrode diaphragm to avoid scratching the electrode diaphragm) In the liquid, gently shake the electrode to ensure that there is no air bubble in the electrode head. Let it stand for more than 30 minutes. The electrode head should not sink into the bottom of the container. Press the MENU key to enter the zero calibration menu, as shown below. Press the MENU key to enter the Zero Calibration menu, as shown below.

After the hardness is displayed, the value display is stable. hold down the ENTER key to enter the menu on the right, press the ENTER key to call out / move the cursor, and use the up and down keys to modify the number and modify the value to the current standard solution value. Move the cursor to the last digit and press ENTER again to save automatically and the calibration is completed. Then wait for a few minutes and observe whether the measurement data changes in a large range.

2. Slope calibration: Press the MENU key to enter the slope calibration menu, as shown below:

Before calibration, wash the electrode with distilled water and use a clean filter paper to gently absorb the water droplets at the bottom of the electrode (do not use filter paper to wipe the electrode, so as not to damage the electrode membrane), place the electrode in the standard solution of the corresponding concentration, and gently shake the electrode to ensure that there are no bubbles in the electrode head, make it stand for more than 30 minutes, and do not sink the electrode head to the bottom of the container. ※.Precautions：

1. The electrode is a consumable product. after use, the diaphragm begins to show signs of aging. It must be calibrated every 1 month to ensure measurement accuracy. If the electrode has been purchased for more than 6 months, please pay attention to replace the electrode. 2. The electrode installation environment requirements are: water pressure less than 0.15MP, flow rate less than 10cm3 / s, temperature less than 35 ℃. 3. Regularly check the electrode head for dirt adhesion. If you need to clean the electrode, rinse the dirt with water as much as possible. Do not touch the diaphragm with hard objects, causing the diaphragm to break. 4. There is a white spot about 1cm above the electrode diaphragm. Make sure that the white spot is immersed in the water body, and the white spot cannot be damaged or attached with dirt, otherwise it will cause electrode damage or inaccurate measurement data.

※. Common Questions:

1. The warranty period of hardness tester and ion tester is 3 months. 2. The hardness tester is a soft film, which is easily affected by water flow, has poor repeatability, and the zero position is easy to convert. regular calibration is required to improve accuracy. 3. The purchased hardness tester will not be used until half a year after it is received. The measurement data is not accurate or has no value. Our hard The warranty period of the meter and ion meter is three months. the receipt of the goods begins, and it is not used after three months. the electrode problem is not covered by the warranty. 4. The measurement data fluctuates. generally, it is caused by submerged installation and water flow attenuation pressure rotation. The measured value is not accurate. after receiving the hardness tester or ion meter, there is an error between the measured value and the standard solution. In the standard solution, the instrument is energized for one day, and the standard solution is re-measured the next day, and if not allowed to re-calibrate. 6. There is an error between the hardness tester and ion meter measurement data of the water sample and the data detected by the third party. There may be other ions in the water sample. It is recommended to use local water samples for calibration.
