Cryolite, also known as sodium hexafluoroaluminate or sodium fluoroaluminate, has molecular formula Na3AlF6 and molecular weight 209.94. It is a white fine crystal or a white and slightly gray powder. Hardness 2 ~ 3, relative density 3, melting point 1009°C, easy to absorb water and moisture.

1.       Granular cryolite:

1) it can achieve high particle size, usually more than 200 mesh;
