The Zappalà’s story starts at the beginning of the ‘70s from a small laboratory – now a big Dairy Company – placed in Sicily at the slopes of Mount Etna. In the ‘80s, the laboratory changed look, it became a real plant. Hence, the small family enterprise became a real Company. The business management is in the hands of the current entrepreneurial generation. Zappalà started to supply the main distribution chains belonging to the South of Italy very soon so as to create a strong commercial control in this area. In the ‘90s instead it started to expand through the national and international market. Nowadays, Zappalà is among the top ten Italian Dairy Companies with the same passion and the best genuineness and quality ever.
