It is miscible with water, alcohol, ether and hydrocarbon solvents. Diethylene glycol dimethyl ether is an aprotic strong chemical Book solvent, which is widely used as solvent in the synthesis of organometallic compounds, alkylation and polycondensation; Pharmaceutical, organic synthetic raw materials. Diethylene glycol dimethyl ether was prepared by the reaction of diethylene glycol with methanol.
