Refined sugar is used as a substitute for bee energy food (honey) in the case of bees' seasonal food shortage or bee colony energy food shortage. It is bee food. Feeding can be completed at any time by opening the box or placing the condensed sugar in any empty space in the box when checking the bees. Refined sugar is not equal to white sugar or syrup. Refining sugar uses high-quality white sugar (not beet sugar or starch sugar) produced from sugarcane as the main raw material, added with vitamins, amino acids and other nutrients, which is more in line with the needs of bees to maintain basic life characteristics, reproduction and production than white sugar or starch syrup .
Traditional bee feeding is in the case of shortage of energy and food. In order to maintain the basic life of bees, it is necessary to feed white sugar water. It needs to melt the white sugar and feed it at night, which increases the workload of beekeepers and bees. The white granulated sugar water has a single nutrient composition and cannot meet the physiological needs of bees. The rapid and short-term intense excitement of the bee colony feeding the syrup can easily cause a series of problems such as flying bees and stealing bees. After feeding sugar water, bees need to brew to remove excess water, increase the workload of bees, and accelerate the aging and death of bees. Feeding refined sugar has the following advantages:
①The pollination effect is better by feeding the greenhouse pollinator group;
② Feed the mating group to improve the success rate of queen bee mating;
③ Feeding the breeding colony can enhance the physique of the bees, improve the immunity of the bees, and extend the life of the bees;
④It can increase the amount of slurry in the bee ovary and promote the continuous reproduction and development of the bee colony;
⑤It can enhance the enthusiasm of queen bees to lay eggs and make the colony reproduce faster;
⑥ Sugar refining can absorb the metabolic water of the bee colony, which is beneficial to reduce the humidity in the beehive, and the effect is obvious during low temperature and rainy periods;
⑦ Feeding this product during pollen production can increase the output of pollen and improve the effect of collection and pollination;
⑧ Refined sugar has a low moisture content, which is faster than bee brewing with high moisture content syrup, which removes excess water and saves energy;
⑨ Convenient feeding, no night feeding is required, which can reduce the labor intensity of beekeepers and bees, and use large-scale bee farms with higher efficiency;
⑩ Continuously excited the bee colony, and it is not easy to have problems of flying and stealing bees. If sugar-refined feeding is the mainstay, it is better to feed syrup appropriately.
