Our guide buoys are manufactured using closed cell polyethylene foam core, which makes them virtually unsinkable. The core is covered by a EPS cell foam skin, which makes the assembly flexible and resistant to impacts they may receive from marine traffic. The load bearing structure, usually a tail, transmits the loads from the mooring to the hull and it's manufactured from hot dipped galvanized steel.
