Labyrinth seal is used for both bowl ends of LW decanter centrifuge, simple and convenient, after separation, the solid phase is conveyed to the solid discharge port by scroll conveyor, and discharged out of centrifuge under centrifugal force; while the liquid phase drains out under gravity and centrifugal force through the overflow plate

is used for solid-liquid-liquid separation, namely one kind of solid phase (with largest specific gravity ) and two kind of immiscible liquid phase with different density. Scroll conveys the solids towards the conical end of the bow, and out of centrifuge from solid discharge port. The light liquid phase then is discharged out continuously through the overflow port at the large end of the bowl, and the heavy liquid phase will be discharged out through the centrifugal pump large end of the bowl, thus realizing the three-phase separation.

The centrifuge is used in explosive or flammable applications in chemical industry, petrochemical industry, pharmacy industry and other industries, and any leakage of gas into the external atmosphere is prohibited in the course of solid-liquid separation, or used in solid-liquid separation in applications in which explosion may be caused if the external air enters the inner chamber of the centrifuge. Both ends of the bowl and the liquid outlet are airtight to achieve the airtight and flameproof effect.
The gas-tight seal is a special structure consisting of the mechanical seal and inert gas supply device. It effectively prevents the external air from penetrating into the inner chamber of the centrifuge, and prevents the gas inside the centrifuge from leaking into the external environment.
