1.1 What is ozone?  

 

TRUME ozone series is to clean the air or water in the same way nature uses lightning to create ozone to clean the air naturally. Ozone is very unstable and attaches to contaminants, mold, odors, etc. This reaction results in previously contaminated areas smelling fresh and clean.

 

1.2 Placement and Setting of Machine

 

1.2.1. Do not use this product near high-precision electronic equipment, radio interference may be caused by the misuse of high-precision electronic equipment and other problems. 4. Applications

5. Operation Instructions

 

5.1 Placed the ozone generator to a smooth, airy location.

 

5.2 Connected cooling water (For water cooling type machine)

 

5.3 Plug in the 220VAVC power, turn on the pump switch first.

 

5.4 Extension of time to open the ozone switch (depend on air humidity, higher humidity, longer time, usually 1-30 seconds), ozone indicator light, the machine starts to work ozone output from outlet.

 

5.5 Adjust the ozone concentration by switch the concentration knob

 

5.6 Offer disinfection, manually shut down the machine (25g ozone generator don’t have a timer, additional configuration) unplug

5.8 Take the machine to dry and airy location, in case of stagnant water cause by high temperature, high humidify environment in the machine

 

5.9 While stopping the operation machine, please turn off the ozone switch first, after then turn off the pump switch.

 

Notes: Before turn on the power, this machine must be connected cooling water (For water-cooling type machine), prohibited from running without connected cooling water.

7.2. Using Notes

 

7.2.1 Machinery and equipment must be placed in the oilless, clean dry air environment location to extend the lifespan of the machinery and equipment.

 

7.2.2 Handled gently when using, not abandonment.

 

7.2.3 Machinery and equipment used in water treatment, ozone output port must be connected to the check valve to prevent backwater into the machine, and damage to the machine.

 

7.2.4 Prohibition of placing the machine to disinfection area ,for safety , the device should have a separate working area, then use the silicone tube to deliver ozone to disinfection and chemical reaction zone.

 

7.2.5 Machinery and equipment must check every day before using; any abnormal should immediately shut down, and identify the reasons, solve the problem then use.

 

7.2.6 This machine must be well grounded to prevent lightning. Better to unplug the power when not working.

 

7.2.7 According to the working environment, using requirements choose the corrective ozone generator.

 

7.2.8 For a long time no use, the machine should be cleaned and place to a dry ventilated place to prevent damage from moisture.

 

7.2.9 In order to prevent the machine from moisture and better maintenance ,  open pump switch or gas control switch; switch off "Density Adjustment" or "ozone switch" to work more than three hours weekly to clean the inside of water vapor

Ozone is becoming a very popular method of sanitation for many spa and pool owners.  The high expense of harsh and heavy chemicals combined with the irritating effects of itchy, red eyes and skin makes ozone a natural solution to the problem of effective pool sanitation.  Ozone can reduce your chemical reliance up to 90% To make up for the extra 10%, there are a variety of methods pool owners can turn to.  Some prefer using salt in combination with ozone, others prefer bromine or chlorine (at very small levels, 1-2ppm)  The main objective is clear- Reduce your reliance on chemicals and choose ozone for a pure, rejuvenating swimming experience!

     11.1  How is ozone released into the water?

 

  • Ozone is a gas and is only slightly soluble in water.  It must be thoroughly dissolved into water so that the chemical reactions with contaminants can take place.  The most common way to release ozone in swimming pools is with a venturi injector, which is a device 100mm in length with each end the same diameter (40/50 mm)as the pool plumbing line.  A section of pool piping is removed, and a venturi injector is installed.  The injector diameter is smaller in the middle, similar to squeezing or pinching a hose.  The water travelling into the injector begins to move faster.  In the hole, a vacuum is created.  The amount of vacuum is dependent on the amount of water flow through the injector: more water=more volume.  If a small, flexible hose or tube is attached to this small hole, a liquid or gas can be drawn into the injector and mixed into the water.  The goal is to make the smallest bubbles possible and to keep the bubbles in contact with the water for as long as possible.  The ozone that does not get dissolved will kill or oxidize anything in the water.

 

 

11.2  How long will ozone last in my pool?
  • For purification of water and air, ozone generators are needed to produce on-site.  Because of its short half-life, ozone will decay soon when produced.  The half-life of ozone in water is about 30 minutes, which means that every half hour the ozone concentration will be reduced to half its initial concentration.  For example, when you have 8g/l, the concentration reduces every 30 minutes as follows: 8;4;2;1, etc.  In practice, the half-life is shorter because of various factors.  Factors include temperature, PH, concentration and short solutes.  Because ozone reacts with all kinds of components, the concentration of ozone will reduce quickly.  When most of the components are oxidized, the residual ozone will remain, and the concentration of ozone will reduce.
11.3 Will the temperature or humidity of the air or water affect ozone?
  • The temperature and humidity of the air will directly impact the concentration of ozone gas produced.  The more humid the air, the less concentrated the ozone will be.  Likewise, the temperature of the water has a similar effect; the cooler the water the ozone is injected into, the more effective the ozone will be at removing contaminants.  Heated pools require 10-15% more ozone than traditional pools.

    Thoroughly clean the car and remove all trash and personal belongings. Takeeverything out of the car. Anything left behind could potentially be affected by the ozone.

    Attach a flexible duct to the ozone generator. Some ozone machines will come with the duct, but any dryer duct will do. Duct tape may be helpful.
