APPLICATIONS:

It is suitable for welding medium carbon steel and some low alloy steel, such as 15mnti, 15MnV, etc.

CHARACTERISTICS:

THJ557 is a low alloy steel electrode with low sodium hydrogen type basic coating. DC reverse connection can be used for all position welding. Excellent welding process performance, stable arc, small spatter, easy slag removal and beautiful weld formation.

ATTENTION:

1. Before welding, the welding rod must be baked at 380-400c for 1 hour, and it can be used as soon as it is baked.

2. Before welding, rust, oil, water and other impurities on the weldment must be removed.

3. Short arc must be used in welding, and the swing range should not be too large, and narrow weld bead welding is preferred

4. In order to prevent the occurrence of air holes, the arc striking plate or arc return method should be used for welding.

5. Preheat and inter pass temperature should be kept between 90 and 110 ℃.
