Desiccant rotor is the core component of the runner adsorption dehumidifier. It is made of glass fiber as the internal support carrier of the rotor, and silica gel, molecular sieve and other moisture-absorbing materials. The high efficiency moisture absorption material and the special honeycomb structure of the rotor not only ensure the huge surface area of the rotor in contact with the air, but also improve the moisture absorption efficiency of the rotor and increase the moisture absorption capacity.
Silica Gel Desiccant Rotor
Silica gel desiccant rotor has a very high 82% active silica gel content and only 15% glass fiber content, and the remaining 3% is the acrylic surface coating. So it has excellent moisture absorption capacity and can meet the dehumidification requirements of most applications.
Molecular Sieve Desiccant Rotor
Molecular sieve desiccant rotor has a very high 38% molecular sieve content and 45% active silica gel content, only 15% glass fiber content, and the remaining 2% is the acrylic surface coating. Which has better dehumidification ability in low humidity, high temperature or alkaline environment, and can be used in the dehumidification field requiring very low dew point temperature.
The rotor dehumidifier can quickly, simply and effectively reduce the air humidity, and can efficiently solve the dehumidification field of normal temperature and low humidity, low temperature and low humidity, which cannot be achieved by other freezing methods. It is widely used in food and beverage, pharmaceutical industry, electronic equipment, chemical industry, printing industry and other industries with strict humidity requirements.
Dehumidification Principle
1. Excellent moisture absorption capacity
The density of dry material is approx 290-300kg/cubic meter.
The hygroscopic capacity can reach 39-40% of its dry weight in humid environment.
There is no limit for arbitrarily high relative humidity, as long as no liquid water enters the rotor during operation.
2. Water washable
The rotorcan be cleaned with water or non alkaline liquid after saturation in humid air.
3. High surface strength
The surface compression strength of the rotor is more than 200Kpa.
4. Excellent fire resistance
The combustion index and smoke index of the rotor is both zero.
5. Structural diversity
We can make rotor according to customers' requirements, such as structure of rotor, selection of metal structure parts material, whether flange is needed, etc.
For the large rotor, the dismountable structure will be very conducive to transportation and on-site installation.
