ROSATO DI RABOSO FRIZZANTE
MARCA TREVIGIANA I.G.T
Production area: our vineyards in province of Treviso (Veneto)
Ripening: end of October
Vinification: after harvest, skin and must remain in contact for ca. 12-24 hours, then they are separated and a normal fermentation without maceration takes place. Then temperature is lowered in order to slightly stop fermentation and obtain a sweet wine. Wine is left to refine for some months in concrete basins. Second fermentation takes place in autoclave at a low temperature.
Alcoholic volume: 11,8‰ -12,2% Sugar: 24 gr. lt. Acidity: 6,5 gr. lt.
Description:intense bright pink coloured wine. Perfume of little fruits like raspberry and currant. Sparkling, fresh and balanced on the palate, persistent and with a strong aroma.
Food pairings:it is the glass of wine good for every moment of the day and every meeting, taken before meal it whets incredibly appetite. During meals it matches well with everyday light dishes. To be served at a tem- perature of 8-10 °C.
Conservation: to be kept in fresh places at a temperature of 12-16 °C, far from light, avoid to keep it long time in refrigerator.

FROM 1888
The agricultural business farm Le Rive is based in Negrisia di Ponte di Piave, in the province of Treviso (Italy) in the Eastern part of "Gioiosa et Amorosa Marca Trevigiana", 30 kilometres from Venice. Ecclesiastic documents dating back 1568 already testified the presence of Family "Bonato dei Bonati" in Negrisia, a land with settled and ancient tradition in the vine cultivation field. The hundred-year-old mulberry tree is a witness
of the past, standing as a stately sentinel of the wine cellar, for hundreds of years an ancient example of traditional wine growing in the region, with the "Raggi a Belussi" (a training system invented by the Belussi family with vines disposed like rays), of Raboso vines tightly attached to the mulberry trees.
The intuitions and far-sightedness of Bonato Family's ancestors gave way to the necessary progress towards
success in the vine growing and wine production field, while a mixture of passion, feeling and tradition allowed
us to take on these achievements until nowadays. The huge investments to renew the wine cellar and the vineyards are just a confirmation of the passion and care father Gino and his sons Luigi and Andrea dedicate to their wine production and their territory. Quality is the only aim of Family Bonato. A value conquered by sacrifice, courageous choices and obduracy. The same qualities we find in the grapes and in all the bottles. Our purpose is giving our contribution to the diffusion of the immense landscape value in this territory, where quietness and serenity characterize a beautiful natural environment, rich in water, and where vine growing represents the fundamental resource of the community.
The territory offers a great pedological variety, from the rocky hills of Valdobbiadene, to the medium-mixture soils in the Negrisia plain, due to the presence of alluvial silts rich in magnesium and Dolomite rocks calcium.
Here different varieties of grapes are produced, from the fresh and fruity Prosecco to the fullbodied
Raboso Piave, which finds in this land its ideal habitat.
The Raboso is a unique and autochthonous vine characterizing for more than 600 years winegrowing in Marca Trevigiana and our cellar can be considered a milestone in this tradition.
The Prosecco itself, from the hard and narrow hills in Treviso region, finds here the ideal condition to the expression of its typical characteristics.The winding flowing River Piave, surrounded by the greenery of mountains, of the hills and of the plain, delimitates the contours of our vineyards, taking care of the vine and of its needs, giving to the culture all
it needs to exalt the character of grapes.
