Flour is the main raw material in the production of flour products. Our products are obtained as a result of grinding into a powdered or coarse state of grain. The word “flour” is used in the collective sense to refer not only to baking and confectionery powdered flour, but also to coarse pasta flour — grits and semi-grits. The flour of our production contains more parts of the grain endosperm and fewer shell and germ particles, which means that we offer the highest grade flour. Our finished product is high-grade flour, which has a pure white color, pleasant taste and smell.

Flour production technology
Preparation of grain for grinding
At the first stage, we clean the grain from foreign impurities, remove the germs and wash the grain.
Cleaning the grain from the weeds
Machines in which the main working body is a sieve are used.
For the separation of light impurities (dust, etc.), vakes are used that purify the grains with a jet of air.
Weeds that differ from the grain of the main crop (wheat) in shape (Kukol seeds, oatmeal) are separated from the grain by triers, where the working bodies are rotating drums or disks with cells, through which weed seeds are removed from the grain mass.
Removal of plant germs
From external contaminants and particles of the germ and shells of the cleaned grain for milling and brushing machines. The cleaning mechanism consists in the fact that the grain is struck many times on the inner rough surface of these machines by fast-rotating beaters or brushes.
Washing and humidifying the grain
We wash the grain mainly with warm water at a temperature of 30-50C in special washing machines.
Washed grain is subjected to softening, soaking in water for 6-16 hours. at the same time, the grain is moistened, which contributes to the better separation of the shells from it in the process of further grinding.
Grain grinding (getting flour)
At our production facilities, grain is crushed on roller machines, the main working bodies of which are two cylindrical cast-iron rollers of the same diameter with riffles cut on them. The rollers rotate towards each other at different speeds. The gap between the rollers is set depending on the required size of the product grinding in the range of 0.15-0.75 mm.
The product coming out of the roller machine is not uniform in particle size, but is a mixture of different size and different quality of grains: some are very small, others are large; some are pure endosperm, i.e. the highest quality product, while others consist of an endosperm with a certain proportion of shells not separated from it.
Sifting the grain
From all this mass, it is necessary to select flour – the most homogeneous product in terms of particle size, the composition is pure or almost pure (depending on the type of flour) endosperm. Flour is extracted from this mass on special sieving machines, which are called sieves, and the products remaining after separation of flour are sorted by the size and quality of particles on sorting machines. The sorted fractions are fed back to the roller mills for grinding, and the process is repeated again.
