The JGR Series jacketed glass reactor systems from LAB1ST Scientific is the ideal equipment for mixing, reaction and distillation in chemistry and pharmaceutical industries. A wide choice of volumes are available from 500mL to 200L. When working with heating / cooling circulators, the temperature inside the vessel can be gently and accurately controlled by thermal fluid circulation inside the jacket. This reaction vessel is rated to operate safely under full vacuum.

The reactor system comes with a large dual layer condenser for highly efficient condensation during distillation and reflux operations.
Unlike normal voltage-modulated controllers, VFD (variable-frequency drive) motor controller can get much larger stirring torque even at low speed.
Durable AC induction motor is designed for continuous operation.
The support frame is made of stainless steel 304, with outstanding corrosion resistance. Moreover, it’s designed to protect the glass vessel against damages from careless operation.
The bottom drain valve has a zero dead space design, to make sure materials inside the vessel is always mixed thoroughly.
All the glassware is carefully crafted by borosilicate 3.3 glass for excellent chemical and physical performance.
The glass lid comes with 6 ports for maximized flexibility in operation (ports for stirring, thermowell, funnel, condenser, powder inlet & vacuum valve).
Normally connected between reactor and vacuum pump, the pressure inside the vessel can be conveniently monitored.
The blades are available in PTFE, stainless steel or PTFE-coated stainless steel, and can be clamped on the stirring shaft.
For low temperature operations, an additional vacuum jacket on the vessel can provide thermo-insulation, get rid of frost and keep clear vision inside the vessel.
We offer thermo-fluid ports in different forms (glass barb, stainless steel barb, flange, NPT thread, etc).
