Pane e Pace
Our company, made from Perrone’s family, has been there for more than one century. From generation to generation our family has crossed the 20th century, taking part in the numerous social changements and revolutions that transformed the Italian society so far. Our company takes place in Matera, an ancient city where time seems to stop and where there is a good relationship with the territory . That’s why our main goal is to keep the traditions of bakery and the same passion of the past. Furthermore, Pane e Pace bakery wants to manifest the engagement in the conscious manufacturing of authentic products to power the good health and nurshish the peace itself for us, our families, and our society.
The owner, Lucia Perrone produces biscuits and bread only by using wood ovens and typical products, such as Reground Durum Wheat Semolina and starter yeast.
