Reinforcing mesh is a welded wire fabric, prefabricated steel reinforcement material. It has a rectangular or square grid pattern and is produced in flat sheets.
The fabric is used to provide tensile strength and crack control to structural concrete elements.
This general purpose mesh is used for reinforcing flat concrete elements such as flooring, footpaths slabs and walls etc. Square mesh is manufactured from L grade ribbed wires (D500L) that are welded together with equal spacing in both directions to form square apertures
