YaMZ-236NE2 engine
Engine's type. 6-cylinder V-type diesel engine, 4-stroke, direct injection, turbocharged, liquid-cooled, air-to-air intercooled on products.
Design features:
- Fuel supply system: split type, produced by YAZDA. Injection pump - six-section, plunger (in-line 133.5 or V-shaped 324.5). The speed controller is centrifugal, all-mode. The fuel priming pump is a piston pump with manual fuel priming;
- Fuel filters - coarse cleaning with a replaceable filter element; fine cleaning with a replaceable filter element;
- Cooling system: liquid, closed type with forced circulation of the coolant. Equipped with a thermostatic device for automatically maintaining the thermal condition of the engine. The water pump is a belt driven centrifugal type. Liquid-oil heat exchanger - plate or tubular type.
- Generator - alternating current with V-belt drive, with voltage 28V;
- Starting device - electric starter, rated voltage 24V;
- The clutch is a dry frictional, single-disc, with a diaphragm draw-off spring and asbestos-free linings;
- Gearbox - five-speed, mechanical with synchronizers in 2-3 and 4-5 gears.Ecology
The engine and its configuration are certified for compliance with the requirements of the Technical Regulations of the Customs Union TR CU 018/2011 "On the safety of wheeled vehicles", including the emission of harmful substances comply with the standards of environmental class 2 for road equipment (UN Regulations No. 49-02B, No. 24 -03-Euro-2).
