Product Description

Dunlop LP Contact Adhesive is a premium quality solvent-based synthetic rubber resin adhesive specially formulated with heat resistance property. It is easy to use and has a good bond strength on most materials.

Dunlop LP Contact Adhesive

Specially formulated for content bonding decorative plastic such as formica to a wide variety of building substracts. Most versatile multipurpose adhesive forming very strong bonds between diverse materials such as wood, metal, leather, rubber (including light weight elastomeric nitrile rubber material designed for thermal insulation), fabric-baked P.V.C, cork and rigid insulation materials (excluding expanded polystyrene foam).

Storage

When the adhesive is kept in a well-sealed container and stored in a cool and dry place. A shelf life of 12 months can reasonably be expected.

Method of Use

1. Before use, stir container thoroughly to disperse any pigment sedimentation and to ensure uniform consistency.

2. The materials to be bonded should be dry, clean and free

from dust, loose material, oil or grease.

3. Apply the adhesive to both surfaces to be bonded with a dry clean brush or scraper to give a uniform coating. Allow the solvents to evaporate until the adhesive film is 'tacky'. This should take about 3 to 30 minutes depending upon surface porosity.

4. Apply even pressure to consolidate the bond. (The immediate high bond strength increases appreciably within the next 24 hours and will develop still further in service.)
