High Viscosity Thickeners Industry Grade Carboxymethyl Cellulose Sodium CMC

Carboxy methylcellulose, white flocculent powder, odorless, tasteless, non-toxic. It is easy to dissolve in water and form transparent colloidal liquid with neutral solution.

It is stable to light and heat. It has hygroscopicity. It is insoluble in acids, cresol, ethanol, acetone, chloroform, benzene, etc., but insoluble in methanol and ether.

Cellulose derivatives with carboxymethyl substitutes are prepared by treating cellulose with sodium hydroxide to form alkali cellulose and reacting with chloroacetic acid. Glucose units that make up cellulose have three replaceable hydroxyl groups, so products with different degrees of replacement can be obtained.

HPMC APPLICATION

The application includes but is not limited to the following fields:

Tile Adhesive Tile grout,Joints and Crack Fillers Gypsum Manual Plaster Exterior Insulation and Finish System(EIFS) Skim Coat Manual Plaster Self-leveling Compound Detergent Water-borne paint HPMC plays three roles in putty powder: thickening, water retention and construction.

Thickening: Cellulose can be thickened to suspend, make the solution uniform up and down, anti-hanging.

Water retention: Make putty powder dry slowly, and assist lime-calcium reaction under the action of water.

Construction: Cellulose has lubricating effect, which can make putty powder have good workability.

Masonry mortar mainly plays the following roles:

1. Enhance adhesion and masonry surface, and can enhance water retention, improve mortar strength.

2. Improve lubricity and plasticity, improve processability, haoshuo production of cellulose ether reinforced mortar, easier to use, save time, improve cost effectiveness.

3. With special high water retention, suitable for super absorbent ceramic tile.
