High Technology System Infrared Repeater and Infrared Remote Control IR RF Repeater
BIRE KIT is the latest breakthrough Infrared Repeater system. BIRE KIT has a dual power supply options with an inbuilt 3.7V Lithium Polymer battery. Full charging time takes about 2 to 3 hours and a fully charged battery enable the product to operate up to 12 months.
BIRE can also be powered by USB DC5V adaptor. BIRE KIT includes an IR Receiver which is built to the main Block IR Blaster. The IR Blaster block is all you need to control all the components intended for use in a cabinet which are behind closed doors of cabinet.
Battery Hibernation :
- Battery will need to be “awaken” by pressing any button on the remote control when the BIRE KIT is to be used. Second pressing on remote control will start the actual remote signal. The kit will go into hibernate mode after 15 seconds if not used.
Power Adaptor :
- There is no hibernation mode if BIRE KIT is powered by power adaptor.

 | Lim was born in Singapore and received his tertiary education in UK and Japan. He graduated from the Electrical & Electronic Engineering faculty of which he worked in the private engineering sector.
1 July 1988, with an initial capital outlay of US$6,000, Lim along with former schoolmate Yoji Kobayashi founded Kay’s Manufacturing in the form of sub contractor to EMS in a small shop space they rented. There they developed and founded Credmax Technology which supply Japanese semiconductors to factories in neighboring countries. |

1996 , they bought over their customer’s remote control factory in Singapore and started Remote IR Extender. Since then, they never looked back.
Mr. Lim has won accolades from industry and government for his prolific innovations.
This includes his winning Singapore’s Public Star Medal in 2001 for his outstanding achievements in the business field, winning the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award from organizer of the European DVD summit in April 2000 and by being appointed Chairman of Singapore’s Technopreneurship 21 Private Sector Committee in March 1999.
