PDC – Polycrystalline Diamond Compacts are made by sintering diamond grains with a catalyst under ultra-high temperature and high pressure (HT-HP) processes, and have a combination of super wear resistance and impact toughness. Materials are widely used in the manufacture of various petroleum and geological drilling PDC bits.
·Higher grade and purer diamond powder, in which impurity content decreases vastly, is chosen as raw material to increase bonding strength among diamond.
·Grit mixture ratio of diamond powder and sintering technics are improved which increase rate of penetration while drilling in hard rock.
·Shallow slots in length and breadth distribute homogeneously on the top of tungsten carbide substrate. This kind of interface improves stress distribution and raises impact resistance and reliability.
·Thermal stability reaches 750℃.
·Improved structure of sintering cavity makes that temperature and press distribute homogeneously during the sintering process, and assures stable performance of PDC cutters.
