Vitamin D3, also known as cholecalciferol, is a type of vitamin D, which has been proven to be the true active form of vitamin D in the body. There are at least 10 types of vitamin D currently known, but the most important ones are Vitamin D2 (ergocalciferol) and vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol). Cholecalciferol, also called vitamin D3, is the most important form of the vitamin D family, which mainly regulates calcium and phosphorus metabolism in the body.
Function ：
1.Vitamin D3 is fat-soluble. This means that excess amounts of it are stored in the body tissues. Adults with low levels of vitamin D3 are more likely to develop osteomalacia (similar to rickets) and to suffer from osteoporosis, a bone-weakening disease. 3.Vitamin D3 also regulates the nervous system, aiding in the treatment of insomnia.
