Silicon carbon alloy, also called High carbon silicon / HC silicon / High Carbon Silicon Alloy,it is a new and high efficient steelmaking alloy for converter, used in converter, smelting deoxidation alloying process. High carbon silicon is usually instead of ferro silicon, silicon carbide and recarburizer.
Silicon carbon alloy / high carbon silicon is a by product comes from silicon metal plant. It deposits on the bottom of the melting furnace, and has to be cleaned out in several months interval. But as the technology developing, the interval has prolonged from three months to six months. So the output of this product become more limited than before. We collect and select this product from biggest silicon metal factories all around China.
Application:
