Molded FRP gratings are manufactured in customized molds by special process with certain open area. The thermosetting resin is used as matrix and the fiberglass roving is used as skeleton. It has double load bearing in both vertical and horizontal directions. Besides, the four edges have excellent loading bearing capacity.
There are several kinds of resin which can be used for manufacturing molded FRP grating: m-phthalate unsaturated polyester resin,o-phthalate unsaturated polyester resin, bisphenol A type unsaturated polyester resin, vinyl ester resin, epoxy resin and phenolic resin.
