Light weight clay brick refers to the Al₂O₃ content of 30-46% light insulation brick products. Taking clay clinker or light
clinker and plastic clay as the main principle, it is usually produced by combustible method, and porous structure can also be formed by chemical method or foam method. The service temperature is at 1200-1400℃. The refractory is characterized by high porosity, generally 40%-85%; low bulk density below 1.5 g/cm3; low thermal conductivity,
generally below 1.0 W (m.k). Compared with the general clay brick, the light weight, uniform internal distribution of small pores, high porosity.
Therefore, it can ensure that the heat loss of the furnace wall is less, the cost of fuel will decrease accordingly, and the light clay brick also means smaller heat storage, so both heating and cooling are faster, allowing accelerated periodic operation. Light weight fire clay refractory brick is suitable for 900℃~1650℃. 1. low thermal conductivity, with good thermal insulation effect;
2. low hot melt, due to low thermal conductivity, mullite series of light heat insulation brick accumulated little heat energy,
in intermittent operation energy saving effect is obvious;
3.high fire resistance and high aluminacontent make it maintain good performance under reducing atmosphere;

5. the appearance size is accurate, speeds up the masonry speed, reduces the refractory mud usage, guarantees the masonry strength and the stability, thus prolongs the lining life;

Application Fire clay insulation brick is widely used, mainly used in various industrial kilns without contact with molten matter and no
corrosive gas insulation material, service temperature is 1200-1400℃. Mainly used in thermal boiler, glass kiln, cement kiln, chemical fertilizer gas furnace, blast furnace, hot blast furnace, coking furnace, electric furnace, casting and pouring steel brick.
