Note: The TRIP pin is a 10K internal pull-up resistor. Use the IO port of the microcontroller to pull down the TRIP pin, and then give a pulse signal of more than 10us.
The OUT pin is the switch output pin when the module is used as an anti-theft module. This pin is not used by the ranging module!

Note: The module should be plugged in on the circuit board and then powered on to avoid high-level misoperation. If it occurs, re-energize it to solve it.

This module can provide distance measurement programs: C51, PIC18F877, Yilong MCU, and three MCU test references.

Working principle of URF04 module:

(1) Adopt IO to trigger distance measurement and give a high level signal of at least 10us;

(2) The module automatically sends eight 40khz square waves and automatically detects whether a signal

     returns;

(3) When a signal returns, a high level is output through IO. The duration of the high level is the time from the transmission of the ultrasonic wave to the return.

Test distance = (high level time * speed of sound (340M/S))/2;

This product is easy to use. A control port sends a high level above 10US, you can wait for the high level output at the receiving port. Once there is output, you can start the timer to count, and you can read when this port becomes low level. The value of the timer, at this time, is the time of the distance measurement before the distance can be calculated. With such continuous periodic measurement, you can reach the value of your mobile measurement!
