1. Precautions for water-cooled outboard motors
Two-stroke engine: Please mix in strict accordance with the two-stroke engine oil and 92 gasoline mixing ratio specified in the instructions 25:1 or 50:1.
The water-cooled outboard motor can only be started by putting the machine in the water (do not start on shore), and the machine must be refueled before starting.
It is forbidden to run-in at idle speed in the bucket, and it is forbidden to idle for more than five minutes during the run-in period. Prolonged idling during the running-in period may produce carbon deposits, which may burn off the spark plugs and cause difficulty in starting later.
2. The difference between two-stroke and four-stroke:
Fuel economy: a four-stroke machine with the same horsepower can save 30% of fuel than a two-stroke machine.
Gasoline and engine oil: The fuel of the two-stroke machine is a mixture of gasoline and engine oil. The two-stroke outboard engine does not have an oil filling hole, and there is no need to inject engine oil for lubrication. Instead, it is lubricated when the machine is running.
The fuel of the four-stroke machine is gasoline, and the fuselage has a special oil filling hole. It is necessary to add an appropriate amount of oil to lubricate the gears such as the crankshaft. After a period of time, it is necessary to drain the waste oil and refill with new oil to ensure the high performance of the machine.
Noise and jitter: The noise and power of a two-stroke outboard motor with the same horsepower are slightly higher than those of a four-stroke outboard motor.
Post-maintenance: The structure of the two-stroke machine is simple, so the maintenance of the two-stroke outboard machine is more convenient than the four-stroke outboard machine.
Fuel use: Two-stroke machines use mixed fuel, that is, gasoline and engine oil are mixed in proportion. The ratio of gasoline to engine oil during the running-in period is 25:1. After the running-in period, the ratio is 50:1.
For four-stroke fuel, please use gasoline No. 92 or above, and add the engine oil to the engine oil tank separately.
3. Do you need to refuel after receiving the machine:
Since the product is not allowed to contain liquids during transportation, each machine will empty the oil after the test. You will need to refuel after receiving the machine. (Four-stroke machine gasoline and oil tank should be filled separately. Two-stroke machine directly add the mixed oil, it is recommended that 92# pure gasoline and two-stroke engine oil be mixed at a ratio of 25:1 or 50:1)
4. Gear oil filling method
There is a screw on the gear box. Unscrew the screw to add gear oil. Each machine will be filled with gear oil before deliver, so you don’t need to add gear oil for the first time. Please add it according to your usage afterwards. It is recommended to check the gear oil every ten hours of machine use.
5. How to use the air-cooled engine choke
When the machine is cold, please open（pull out） the choke. When starting the machine, wait for the machine to warm up and then close（Push back） the choke, and when the machine is running, you need to keep the choke close, otherwise the machine will automatically shut down.

6. Storage and transportation methods
Gasoline is easy to oxidize and deteriorate when stored. Using deteriorated gasoline will cause difficulty in starting the machine and block the oil circuit. If you do not use the engine for more than half a month, please pour out the fuel.
The oil of the four-stroke machine needs to be checked after 5 hours working at the first use, and check whether the oil and air filter are normal before each use.
When the machine is transported or stored, the engine must be kept level to avoid fuel or oil leakage.
