Introduction:
RTD is one type of widely used industry thermometer, can be treated as standard thermometer. It mainly includes types of pt100,pt1000,Cu50,Cu100, with structures of assembly or sheath. For platinum RTD, the highest accuracy is ±0.1℃(AA class), the highest using temperature is 600℃. For Copper resistance, the highest accuracy is±0.3℃, the highest using temperature is 150℃. RTD with high accuracy and low price, is widely applied for kinds of industries production process that temperature requirement is below 600℃.
RTD action principle: RTD measures temperature by utilizing the characteristics as follows: When the material has the temperature change ,the resistance itself varies accordingly. When temperature gradient exists in the measured medium, it is the average temperature of the medium within the locating range of temperature-sensing element .
