Plantain extract is rich in vitamin B1, riboflavin, ascorbic-acid, apigenin, baicalein, citric-acid, ferulic-acid and ursolic-acid. Medical evidences exist to confirm that plantain extract can be used as an alternative medicine for asthma, emphysema, bladder problems, bronchitis, fever, hypertension, rheumatism and blood sugar control.
