Gigant is an Italian company located in Bologna, in the heart of the famous Motor Valley. We have been manufacturing hydraulic presses since 1956. First in a smaller plant, then next to the airport in a larger factory to be able to assemble machines up to 13 meters high, we design and produce our presses tailoring them to the customers needs. From 70-ton c-frame presses, to 300-ton uprights presses, to 4000-ton hydroforming systems, to 1500-ton hot-forging presses, our range of products meets all the needs of the manufacturing industry. Our R&D department works with several Universities to study the most innovative metal sheet and composite process solutions to offer. Our technical office is able to accommodate every productive requirement, for example an increased lateral daylight or a non-standard working table size, because our machines are customizable. Projects are then realized internally in our job-shop by our expert workers with quality components. Throughout the design and building process we constantly update our customers, who are then finally invited to our factory to test the machine. We have been exporting since the 1970s and we have so far delivered more than 3000 machines around the world. A lot of them have been supplied as part of full production lines, because we constantly work with other top-class European partners to offer turnkey productive solutions (for example, lines with decoiler and straightener, or feeder and destacker, or anthropomorphic robots, or trimming and edging machines). That's why Gigant is a name in the metal forming industry. Our service network is available for predictive maintenance and spare parts you might need later during the long life of our presses. All our machines are CE certified and respect the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and following updates. Our subsidiary company, Promotec-Becky, is instead specialized in thermal cutting machines. This way, our offer on the manufacturing market is even more complete.

We are based in BOLOGNA, since 1956; we have delivered our presses to Northern Europe(40.00%), Domestic Market(30.00%), Eastern Europe(10.00%), Africa(5.00%), Mid East(5.00%), Western Europe(5.00%), Central America(5.00%). There are total about 11-50 people in our plant.
