The Bioserica fiber is a bio-based fiber that comes from plants, and it is a mixture of PHBV and PLA in a certain proportion.And then, it can be obtained by melt-spinning. Once contacting bacterial, it can destroy the cell wall of pernicious bacteria and inhibit the breeding of bacteria , thus achieving the antibacterial and odor-resistant effect.
Comparing with other anti-bacterial materials, the main advantage of Bioserica fiber is natural additive-free, green, environmentally friendly, and safe for human body. Once mixed with different materials like cotton, modal, polypropylene, spandex etc, the anti-bacterial yarns can be widely applied to textile, home textiles, female products, infant products, sport wear and medical auxiliary material. Anti-bacterial yarns can be a replacement of the traditional silver anti-bacterial yarns or copper anti-bacterial yarns.
