At the eastern edge of the province of Treviso (Veneto - Italy) where, more than five centuries ago, there was woodland governed by Venetian Republic, today there is a flourishing wine estate. It was thanks to the particular and fortuitous composition of the soils - rich in clayey and chalky ingredients - but also to the foresight and unflagging determination of the man who endeavored to tap its wine making potential, with the aid of the most modern oenological technologies - but without detriment to traditional methods - that this transformation actually occurred.
The Moletto Winery was founded in 1960 by Mario Stival, initially assisted by his wife, and then, from the eighties on, also by his children who dedicate their efforts to the company s production, sales and marketing sectors.
The vineyards of Moletto are located in the Treviso and Venezia provinces. In the respective areas, the following appellations are approved: Prosecco DOC Treviso, Piave DOC, Lison Pramaggiore DOC, Venezia DOC.
The company cultivates on 90 hectares of land, white grapes (Chardonnay, Glera, Pinot Bianco, Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon, Tai, Verduzzo friulano) and red grapes (Carmenere, Cabernet Sauvignon, Franconia, Malbech, Merlot, Raboso, Refosco Dal Peduncolo Rosso, Tai Rosso).
In the Wine Cellar, avant - garde technology is combined with the best in wine-making tradition. Everything we do is the result of a natural approach in the search for quality and fullness of a good wine to offer the consumer products of exceptional standard.
The production ranges from still white wines, to still red wines, barrique refined wines, sparkling wines.
Since the 2000s, the company is specialized in the production of ready to drink aromatized products based on wine of which it has obtained ministerial authorization for production.
The portfolio includes also spirits: grappa, vodka from grapes and an original tomato gin.
The offer is completed by: Balsamic vinegar of Modena IGP, Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Honey.
Moletto winery is company certified: ISO 14001:2015 environmental certification, IFS and BRC Food - class A, ISO 9001 UNI EN ISO 9001:2015. Moletto has implemented a HACCP system and a documented quality control system of products, processes, personnel and plant security.
