JC-K-220-2 Series Jiuchen Melting Furnace is equipped with Thermocouple, SSR, AI Temp-erature Controller. It is specially designed and constructed for melting metals for casting and alloying of metal up to 1200oC.
JC-K-220-2 Gold Meter is equipped with 1kg, 2kg,3kg capacity graphite crucible for melting
1kg Capacity: 821g (26.4 ozt. 14KY gold)
2kg Capacity: 53 ozt. 14KY gold
3kg Capacity: 90 ozt. 14KY gold Gold: 2799g (90 troy oz.)
This crucible has a groove in the rim to accept the specially designed crucible tongs for added safety.
Temperature range is from 0 Degrees Fahrenheit to 2192 Degrees Fahrenheit (1200 Degrees Celsius) all Digitally controlled by you. It takes 15-20 Minutes to fully melt your metal depending on the form of material. Shot or small parts melt faster than large bars or blocks.

Gold Melting Furnace Operating Instruction
The furnace has two on/off switches: the GREEN switch turns on the temperature thermostat allowing you to set the desired melting temperature.
The RED switch turns on the heating element to start the melting process.
The thermostat has two digital read-outs: the bottom readout (SV) displays the setting you enter into the furnace. The top read-out (PV) displays the actual temperature inside the crucible during operation.
To set the desired melting temperature, turn on green on/off switch. Wait a few seconds; the bottom (SV) readout should show the default temperature setting of 1950°F.
To change the temperature setting, simply press the left arrow key to move the cursor to the proper desired digit and press the up or down keys to adjust it up or down. Adjust each digit to the desired setting.
When you are ready, place the metal pieces or grain in the crucible and set the crucible in the furnace. Close the lid.
Press the red button to start the melting process.
When the metal is molten and has reached casting temperature, turn off the red switch. Open the lid and pour the metal into your prepared flask.
